COVID-19 Protection at The Woods Women’s Group

The Woods Women’s Group Patients,

The health and well being of our patients, staff, and community is our first priority. Amidst growing concern around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking all the CDC and IDPH recommendations and precautions to prevent viral transmission to ensure your safety in our facilities.

What The Woods Women’s Group is Doing

Prevention Screening

Mandatory Mask Wearing Enforced

The COVID-19 pandemic is ever changing and we are striving to provide the best care possible for our patients during this time. Please see our current guidelines and recommendations below:

  • We recommend COVID vaccination and boosters, including vaccination and boosters during pregnancy.
  • If you, or someone close to you, are waiting for COVID 19 test results, or have tested positive, please notify us as soon as possible.
  • If you are pregnant and feel you have COVID 19 symptoms, please call us to speak with a provider.
  • All patients, visitors, and staff are required to wear masks in the office at all times. These masks should not have outflow openings.

If you have any questions or concerns about COVID 19 and your obstetric or gynecologic care, please do not hesitate to call us as guidelines are every changing.

Support Person (Effective February 14, 2022)

- We believe that support is crucial to good health.

We will allow patients to have one support person to accompany them to their office visit and ultrasound appointments.


- Patient’s presenting with COVID-19 symptoms – fever, cough and/or shortness of breath – will

 be rescheduled per CDC guidelines and their referring MD will be notified.

Cleaning 

The Woods Women’s Group always follows the highest level of OSHA sanitization guidelines. We have enhanced these preventative measures in order to protect our staff, Patients and the community at large against any additional risk factors associated with the spread of COVID-19.


Health Status Monitoring 

The Woods Women’s Group has initiated an “Active Monitoring Schedule” for all staff Members to ensure that our responsibility towards your scheduled visit starts long before you walk through our doors. Through active and consistent self monitoring, The Woods Women’s Group will contribute to maintaining the highest possible levels of risk mitigation while providing essential musculoskeletal health services for you during this national emergency.


Scheduled Surgeries

In accordance with changes in hospital policy, your surgeon may be contacting you to reschedule or postpone current elective procedures.
